Sales Info
Thank you for your interest in our Puppies.
After you have selected your new little friend, or just want to know more, please contact me either by email (puppies@prairieviewkennel.com) or telephone (1-605-647-6271). I return all my phone inquiries starting at 8:00 PM Central Time or on weekends. If this is inconvenient for you please specify a good time and I will return your call then. I reply to my emails ASAP.
I try to supply as much information as possible about the puppy your interested in. Size, temperament, parents, etc. I try to match up my puppies to their new families as best I can.
All my puppies are eligible for both AKC and APRI Registration. If the litter has been Registered with APRI and you desire AKC, there is a $50.00 charge, and the papers take 6-8 weeks to arrive. They will be mailed to you as soon as I receive them.
I give you FULL registration privileges. This means that you may breed him/her as a registered dog. HOWEVER I DO NOT GUARANTEE SIZE NOR FITNESS FOR BREEDING. Go to Our Guarantee section to read more about the PrairieView Kennel guarantee.

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulate the transportation of animals. There are temperature embargoes which must be adhered to. i.e. No animal travel by cargo or VIP when the temperature at any point on the planned routing is below 10 degrees Fahrenheit (A Veterinarian statement is needed for Temps between 10 and 50 degrees) or above 85 degrees Fahrenheit (for Shih Tzus, the high temperature cannot be above 75 degrees Fahrenheit). There are also alternate means of shipping available that we can discuss if necessary.
USDA requires that the puppy must be at least 8 weeks of age before it can be shipped. I do not ship my puppies before they are at least 9 weeks. Yorkies and Maltese I prefer to wait at least 10 weeks, especially in colder weather.
25% of the Puppys cost (not including shipping) is required to hold a puppy. This is NON REFUNDABLE, unless for some reason the puppy is unfit for sale. Full payment (including shipping) for the puppy must have cleared to my bank before the puppy is shipped.
If for some reason YOU cancel a shipping date, there will be a $9.00 per day Boarding Charge. If there is an Airline Embargo after that, it will be YOUR responsibility to arrange alternate shipping. After 60 days we will no longer be able to hold puppy for you and your payment will be forfeited.
Puppies are not considered Sold until I receive the deposit. Guarantee must be signed by you and received by me before Puppy is shipped.
I accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, Postal Money Order, or Wire Transfer. I do not accept Personal Checks.
